We asked you to nominate pandemic heroes. We wanted to say thank you by sending them a small gift of McCrea's Candies caramel.

We heard about doctors coming home to empty houses, hardworking nurses treating untold numbers of patients with unwavering commitment, first responders on the front lines getting the sick and injured where they need to go, delivery drivers and grocery store employees who are working every day to insure we have what we need as we quarantine; about vets caring for pets, pharmacy workers dispensing needed prescriptions and so many more. We are sharing a few of them below.
The stories of sacrifice, courage and valor are astonishing, remarkable, incredible. We are honored that you took the time to tell them to us. We hope that our small gift of caramel provided a little bit of well-deserved sweetness to each hero’s day.
